This is Ryan McGovern; owner of Noie Styles, Lifestyle blog and brand and Noie Beauty, a mobile blow dry service in Toronto, Ontario. I have known Ryan for my entire life. We met on the first day of kindergarten when he pushed me in a mud puddle, our moms became instant friends and we have been apart of each others lives ever since. It doesn’t surprise me that I somehow became a photographer and Ryan became a model first, then a stylist. To celebrate the launch of my newest project The Muskokan, a lifestyle blog and listing website that brings together the best moments in Muskoka. So we took a road trip to Gravenhurst Muskoka Steamships and Discovery Centre to create a collection of photographs.
Muskoka is a Mecca for photographers and bloggers. The rustic landscape mixed with turn of the century charm; from its buildings to its boats. Muskoka really is in a class all its own, making it a truly unique place to take photos. It’s a place that is quite special to me, having worked there for over a decade capturing the rustic landscape and the people who vacation there.
Ryan created 3 classic styles designed especially for Muskoka occasions. From what to wear at the yacht club to relaxing on the boat on a summers day.
Our friends at The Gravenhurst Muskoka Steamships and Discovery Centre gave us free range of a steamship for an afternoon. I absolutely adore these images, they sparked a creative note in me that I had been missing for some time.
Check out the photos below for Muskoka fashion inspirations.
Thank you Ryan for making time. You are a pro! And I say that with so much confidence. You understood my vision for the look and feel of this photo shoot and made it a reality. I am blown away by your creativity, and your focus. I am beyond proud of you and your businesses. Its hard to believe we are the same two kids, whose moms used to dress us like twins for school picture day.
